Is Scriptonia free to use?
Yes. Scriptonia has a permanent free plan — no credit card required. It includes 1 workspace, 3 PRDs per month, basic product memory, basic validation, 30 AI credits per month, and Markdown export. Exports include a watermark on the free plan.
How much does Scriptonia cost?
Starter is $8/user/month billed yearly ($10 monthly). Pro is $19/user/month billed yearly ($22 monthly). Enterprise pricing is custom — contact sathwik07@scriptonia.dev.
What does Starter include over Free?
Starter adds: unlimited PRDs, full product memory, validation chain, team collaboration basics, Frontier AI model (vs Standard on Free), 300 AI credits/user/month, Notion and Confluence export, 3 custom templates, 7-day version history, no watermark, and up to 3 workspaces.
What does Pro add over Starter?
Pro adds: architecture blueprint engine, engineering ticket generation, role-based views, outcome tracking, advanced rules, bidirectional Linear / GitHub / Jira / Slack integrations, approval workflows, team analytics, 1,000 AI credits/user/month, unlimited custom templates, and unlimited version history.
What counts as one AI credit?
One credit is consumed per PRD section generated or regenerated via AI. A full PRD (~10 sections) costs ~10 credits. A blueprint costs ~8 credits. Each AI chat refinement message costs 1 credit.
Do unused credits roll over?
Monthly plan credits reset each billing cycle. Purchased top-up pack credits never expire.
Can I buy more AI credits without upgrading my plan?
Yes. One-time credit top-up packs are available on any plan: 100 credits for $5, 300 for $12, 800 for $25, or unlimited credits for $49/month. Purchased credits never expire. See Pricing.
Is there a free trial for paid plans?
The Free tier is a permanent trial — 3 PRDs/month, no time limit. For a 14-day Pro trial, contact sathwik07@scriptonia.dev.
Do I need a technical background to use it?
No. Scriptonia is designed for product managers — not engineers. Describe your idea in plain English; the tool handles structure, technical detail, and architecture.
How accurate is the AI-generated content?
Scriptonia produces high-quality first drafts, but they should always be reviewed by a human. Treat the output as a strong starting point — not a final document. Use the AI chat to refine anything that doesn't fit your specific context.
Can I use my own AI model or API key?
Not currently. Scriptonia uses Claude under the hood, managed by us. Bring-your-own-key support is on the roadmap.
What happens to my data?
See Data Security. Your PRDs are private by default and never shared or used for AI training.
Does Scriptonia integrate with [tool X]?
We currently support Linear, Notion, Confluence, GitHub Issues, Slack, and Jira. More integrations are added regularly — check the Changelog or request one at sathwik07@scriptonia.dev.
Can I invite my team?
Yes. Starter and above plans include unlimited team members. Invite teammates under Settings → Team.
