Ticket Generation

How Scriptonia breaks down PRDs into dev-ready tickets.

Ticket generation

After your PRD is generated, Scriptonia automatically creates a set of dev tickets by analyzing the functional requirements and user stories.

Plan requirement: Engineering ticket generation is available on Pro and Enterprise plans.

Ticket structure

Each ticket includes:

  • Title — A concise, action-oriented description
  • Description — Context, technical notes, and relevant PRD references
  • Acceptance criteria — Pulled directly from the PRD section
  • Size estimate — T-shirt size (XS/S/M/L/XL) based on complexity signals
  • Type — Feature, bug, chore, spike

Grouping

Tickets are grouped by PRD section (e.g., "Authentication", "Dashboard", "Notifications") so engineering leads can plan sprints around logical themes.

Role-Based Views

Pro and Enterprise plans include role-based views — the same ticket set rendered differently for engineers, designers, and QA. Each role sees the fields most relevant to their work.

Editing tickets

Click any ticket to edit its title, description, or acceptance criteria before exporting. Use the AI chat to ask for more or fewer tickets, or to adjust the breakdown.
