Reading Your Blueprint

How to interpret and share the architecture blueprint with your engineering team.

How to read the blueprint

Component boxes

Each box in the diagram represents a distinct system component: frontend apps, backend services, databases, queues, or external APIs. Arrows show data flow direction.

Color coding

  • Purple — Components you build and own
  • Blue — Third-party services or APIs
  • Green — Data stores

Tech stack table

Below the diagram, a table lists each component with a recommended technology and a brief justification. These are suggestions — your team should validate them against your existing stack and expertise. Scriptonia's product memory will bias recommendations toward technologies you've already specified for your workspace.

Sharing with engineering

Export the blueprint as a PNG or share the Scriptonia PRD link. Engineering leads can leave comments directly on the blueprint.
